WES TRADE is proud to announce the opening of its new Iberian WES TRADE Representative Office to cover the Spanish and Portuguese market.
The Rep Office located in the city of VAU in Portugal will be supervised by estimated high level local staff. WES TRADE has a longstanding presence in Spain with a large number of collaborations and partnerships with local Companies.
The initiative will increase the level of support to be offered to WES TRADE Clients in the internationalisation sector.

WES TRADE is proud to have closed a general agreement of collaboration with the local TSAVO GROUP company announcing the opening of a WES TRADE Representative Office in the city of Nairobi.
Scope of the collaboration is to enhance the internationalisation capabilities of WES TRADE in support to its Customers to reach a very interesting African market. It is expected to have in the next years to have a large number of opportunities.
The World Bank’s 2020 Doing Business report ranked Kenya 56 out of 190 countries, an improvement of five places from the previous year’s ranking. The Government of Kenya (GOK) has initiated a broad range of pro-business reforms over the last few years, including regulations on starting businesses, obtaining access to electricity, registering property, protecting minority investors, and streamlining the business insolvency process. Kenya has also been experiencing a strong flow of foreign direct investment (FDI), particularly in the finance and insurance, renewable energy, trade, manufacturing, communication, and education sectors. Agriculture remains the backbone of Kenya’s economy and central to Kenya’s development strategy.

The Institute of Aerospace Technologies of the University of Malta and the Company WES TRADE have signed a collaboration agreement for the BAT Project: an innovative navigation system for UAVs based on inertial systems.

BATproject was awarded to WES TRADE in a Consortium including the Italian companies LION Consulting and GEM Elettronica and one of the biggest aircraft manufacturers in the world, AIRBUS. The Project is co-financed by the Italian Government (MISE - Ministry for Economic development) and by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and has a value of 8.2 M€.

This system will be characterized by low consumption, size and cost, and will be designed using Fault Tolerant Design techniques to make it robust to the possible failure or unavailability of one of the on-board sensors. BAT will also be ideal to support emergencies and future autonomous flights.

The Institute of Aerospace Technologies will be in charge of the study and design of the Fault Tolerance algorithms. The Project will be implemented at the Sardinian facilities of WES TRADE and tested at Sardinian test facilities.

WE LEARN Platform, designed by WES Trade, has finally reached the Milflores Reception Center, situated in the Department of Petén, Guatemala. In this area many poor families are unable to provide their children with the necessary care, so they prefer to entrust them in the Milflores center. With our experience and with the help of the NGO Progetto Continenti, we decided to donate the platform so that the students of the Milflores Center can ensure continuity in their studies and learning and have access to quality educational resources.
The platform has been created in order to connect teachers and students remotely and to allow access to content not available from home, especially in this difficult pandemic period. WES TRADE has signed on December 2020 an agreement with MALTA ENTERPRISE for the feasibility study of the BLUE DROP project. Project will be implemented in collaboration with the Malta College of Arts Science and Technologies (MCAST) and KORE University of ENNA. The project is focused on the Linkages between Water Distribution Pressure Transients, Water Consumption Profiles, and Water Meter Performance leading to Apparent Water Losses and its possible application to technological systems/products to improve the Water performance and reduce Water losses.

WES TRADE has been received at the Presidential Palace of Antananarivo by the President Hery Rajaonarimampianina for discussing possible collaborations in the Country.

WES TRADE attended the Opening Ceremony of the Kankou Moussa Refinery at BAMAKO (MALI) where we realized the integrated security system for the whole site. With a refining capacity of more than 20 tons per month, the Kankou Moussa refinery (KMR) stands for one of the largest and most modern gold refineries in the world. This investment represents a worldwide high-class facility, and by its choice to settle in Mali, the host country, it now allows the deployment of an industrial processing and promotion of valuable substances chain, which allows the fulfillment of local added values.
